Pet Care
During the grooming process all care is taken to ensure the health of your pet is considered. Dirty Dog Wash Groomers are not liable for any pre-existing conditions and problems found during grooming. Any advice given regarding health problems should be checked out by a vet.
 
De-matting 
In the event of matted fur needing a clip down, the owner should be aware that irritation may occur from the shaving process. Due to matts sometimes being tight to the skin, the dog’s skin may get caught because of the close proximity of working to the skin. The owner agrees that Dirty Dog Wash shall not be held liable for any after grooming effects of matt clipping procedures or problems ‘uncovered’ on a badly matted neglected coat. The owner agrees to pay all costs for the grooming of the dog including de-matting , whether or not the groomer is able to complete the job.
 
Aggressive Dogs
Dirty Dog Wash reserves the right to refuse to groom any pet for the safety of the groomer and the dog. The owner agrees to inform Dirty Dog Wash prior to grooming if the dog has bitten or has aggressive tendencies. The owner understands they will be held liable for all bites caused by their dog.
 
Conditions of guarantees
Guarantee of service and any refunds, will only be considered if a customer’s dog has been groomed a maximum of 10 weeks prior to Dirty Dog wash calling. This is so that the dogs coat is in good condition and free from any knots or matts. Failure to maintain the coat could result in losing the shape of the breed/coat. If you do not brush your dog regularly, it may mean that the coat will need to be clipped off short so that all the matts and knots are removed.
 
Cancellations
Please let us know ASAP if you need to change your appointment we require a minimum of 48hrs notice. If you let us know with less than 48hrs then a 25% charge will apply, less than 24hrs 50% charge will apply. If you cancel with less than 6hrs notice or if we attend the house and you are not available after every attempt has been made to contact you the full groom charge will be charged.
